Born in Colette on July 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Doucette and the late Edesse Doucette (Hache).
She leaves to mourn her, daughter Ginette Melanson (Robert) and daughter-in-law Monette Martin (late Bernard) , her sister Elda Doucette (late Rheal), her grandchildren Robby Melanson (Jessica), Shawn Melanson (Laura), Veronique Leger and Jeremie Leger (Adeana) and her great grandchildren, Jude, Owen, Nova, Iris (Children of Robby), Tyson, Austin, Klayton (Children of Shawn), Celeste, Julianne (Children of Veronique) and her special friend, Medric Robichaud.
She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers: Regina (late Robert) Landry, Roselda Doucette, Anita (Late Joseph) Martin, Eloie, Antoine, Gerard, Mederic and Eugene (late Lena) Martin
The family will welcome visitors to La Colombe Funeral Home, Rogersville, on January 5, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm followed by a service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Foyer Assomption of Rogersville would be appreciated.
