Elizabeth Ann Beth McKenney 19632022

Elizabeth Ann “Beth” McKenney
1963-2022
With
deepest sorrow we must announce the sudden and unexpected passing of
our daughter Beth, on December 26, 2022, at the age of 59. She is
survived by her parents, Jeanette “Jean” and Curtis
“Curt” McKenney; her brother, Bob (Shelley),
Charlottetown; nieces, Cindy, Toronto; Alysha, Timberlea; and nephew,
Thomas, Charlottetown; grandnephews, Aiden and Emmett, Timberlea. Beth
loved and had compassion for animals and all things in nature. We
would like to express our gratitude for the quick response of
paramedics and the support of AVH and QEII staff. Beth was an organ
donor, of which we are very proud. A graveside service for family will
be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation, SPCA, or charity of choice.
Arrangements
have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
Miss Me, But Let Me
Go
When I come
to the end of the day,
And the sun has set for
me.
I want no
rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for
a soul set free?
Miss me a
little – but not too long,
And not with
your head bowed low.
Remember the
love that we once shared,
Miss me, but
let me go.
For this is
a journey that we all must
take,
And each
must go alone.
It’s all
a part of the maker’s
plan,
A step on
the road to home.
When you are
lonely, and sick at heart,
Go to the
friends we know.
And bury
your sorrows in doing good
deeds,
Miss me, but
let me go.
