Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Beloved mother of Michael and Joseph Tanenbaum. Dear sister of Judi Majerovics. Loving aunt of Tamara, David, Nathaniel, and Mila. Daughter of the late Moishe and the late Irene (Mama) Majerovics. Anna will be sadly missed by Tamar, Nico, and Amelia, as well as by her friends, colleagues, and all who knew and loved her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons. 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, June 24 at 1:30 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Moishe Section, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, Friday following burial until 4:30 p.m., and Sunday through Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Dear God, you took the best, as you know Dr Anna Majerovics 2022 was truly a Gem, has a way to make you feel comfortable. All doctors could take notice of her more than good nature. I for one will miss her so much. May God bless her soul and her memories be a blessing to all that know her and take away a little piece of her goodness she showered upon us patients. we worked in the same building, and I referred her my patients, always confident in the quality of the care they would receive. A generous colleague, always willing to talk and teach this family doc the pearls of her specialty.
I am so sorry for your loss! I met Dr. Majerovics in late 2019 when I was referred to her. I was diagnosed with AMD and found it quite upsetting. She was one the kindest, most gentle doctors I had ever met and she really helped me calm down.
“We’re gonna be best friends for the rest of your life,” she said as she explained that I would need to visit her every year and we would deal with my eye health issues together.
Then the pandemic hit and I didn’t go the last couple of years. I just now found out about her passing when I looked up her office online to make an appointment finally 3 years later.
I am so terribly saddened to hear of her passing. She really was a gem.
RIP Dr. Majerovics. You will definitely be greatly missed by your patients.
Five years ago, the Nurse referred to me Dr. Anna. I visited her office twice a year. The last one was Jan, 2022, she pushed her chair toward me after checking the image in her display and told me with smile, we have a good news. your vision is good and we gone see you next year 2023. Today Jan 25.2023, I returned to the office hoping to hear from her a good news about my vision. I entered the office and waited the lady finishing her job with printer. thorough the time of waiting, the young doctor opened the door of Dr. Anna office and called one patient to came in than I recognized with sadness that the Dr. Anna may be in vacation. I asked the lady after finishing her job, Dr. Anna is not here today? She looked at me, “Sorry, Dr. Anna passed away in June”.The news hit me like bomb and covered my face with both hands. went to the corridor and the film of my last visit start running, her face, smile, good quality of the care, gentleness, kindness. I cancelled my appointment and returned home with great sadness.Dr. Anna, we are going to remember you as great doctor in the field of the ophthalmology in Montreal. God bless you, Rest in peace.
