Obituary
Donald was born to Nancy Horse and Alex Sandfly in Loon Lake, SK. on June 29, 1957. Don was an awesome, likeable guy. If he saw anyone needed help with anything, he would step up and give a helping hand. He was a hunter and worked many different jobs including: oil field, farm hand and security. He was a jack of all trades. Donald loved his family and friends. He made you feel safe and protected. Don was a cultural man, he would participate in sundances, chicken dances, horse dances and sweats. Children had a special bond with Donald. He cherished all of his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by: his sister, Lorna; his brothers, Warren (Pam) and Aaron (Gail); his step-dad, Arthur Horse; his brothers, Rod Demeris and Glen Demeris; and his aunt, Eliza Starr (Doug).
He is predeceased by: his mother, Nancy Horse; his father, Alex Sandfly; his brother, George Stoney; his daughter, Donalda Stoney; his granddaughter, Suri Stoney; his sister, Virginia Bekkelta; and his cousins, Carol Thunderchild, Laverna Star, and Raymond Thunderchild.
Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
