At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 24,
2022, Donald Gordon Christopher Bennett of Fredericton passed away
unexpectedly at the age of 75. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of
the late Roy Bennett and Grace Bennett
(Lovely).
Donald graduated with a bachelor of programming from
Dalhousie University and worked with the Government of Canada as a
meteorologist at the Pearson Airport in Toronto. He enjoyed reading,
walks in nature and was a genuine person with everyone he
encountered.
Survived by one brother David Bennett, a sister-in-law
Gertrude Bennett, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Don’s request, there will be no visitation or
service. A private interment will be held.
A special thank you is extended to the ICU nurses and Doctors
at the DECH and the SJRH. For those who wish, as an alternative to
flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s
choice.
