Our beloved Dennis died unexpectedly and much too soon at his home in Richmond Hill on August 9th. In recent years he had beaten two types of cancer only to be taken from us by COPD. Just weeks after losing his loving father Allen, he leaves behind his heartbroken mother, Marion Spraggett. Dennis was cherished by his siblings Stephen, Alanna (Peter), Sandra (Bob) and Kathryn (Bobby). He will be remembered as the fun uncle by Sean, Carly (Mike), Camille and Eric.
Dennis’s charisma and welcoming nature brought many friends into his life over the years. He was loved and appreciated for his humour, kindness and extraordinary generosity. He was incredibly sweet and empathetic often opening his home and his heart to those in need, friends and felines were family to him.
Friends are invited to join us at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill to celebrate Dennis on Monday, August 15th, visitation at 1:00pm, service at 2:00pm. A private interment will take place in Collingwood at a later date.
