Obituary
Dennis Eugene Powley passed away suddenly at home on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the age of 73.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Powley (nee Parsons); his children, Sharleen (Kevin) Decelles and Denise (Will Kwong) Powley; step children, Jeremy (Nery) Thomsen, Sarah (Devan) Sieben, Joshua (Christine) Thomsen; grandchildren, Zachary (Victoria) Pilot, Allyssa (Dustin) Eklund, Morgan Powley, Ethan Decelles, Carter Sieben, Owen Sieben, Olivia Kwong, Noah Thomsen, and Phoebe Thomsen; brothers, Douglas (Inez) Powley, Les (Carol) Powley, and many more extended family. Dennis was predeceased by his brother Richard (Sharon) Powley and his step son Zachary Thomsen.
Family and friends of Dennis and Kathy are invited to attend an informal memorial reception which will be held at Everden Rust Funeral Services (1910 Windsor Road, Kelowna) on Saturday, October 22, between 1:00 and 3:00pm. This is a come and go reception. A private Facebook page “Remembering Dennis Powley” has been created to remember Dennis, to which friends and family are welcomed to request access, to share memories and photos.
