Obituary
Berner, Dennis Theodore passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the age of 62.
Husband of the late Jean Berner. Survived by and proud father of Andrew (Katrina) and Alec (Brittany). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Mason, Rosalee, Levi, Eleanor, Isabel and Lincoln.
Dennis is also survived by his mother Shirley Berner, mother-in-law Edna Clazie, Jean’s family Cathy (Wally) Brown, Julie (Bob) Young, Marj (Fred) Cook, and David (Peggy) Clazie, and by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Ted Berner, father-in-law James Clazie, sister Tammy Berner, his brothers-in-law John Clazie and Jamie Malcolm and granddaughter Stella Berner.
Dennis spent many hours behind the big wheel driving proudly for his own company, Berner Transport. Dennis always enjoyed spending time and having fun with family and friends. Everyone seems to have a special Dennis story. He will be remembered by many for bringing a joyful spirit into any room.
A visitation will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home in Southampton on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Interment of ashes at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
