Obituary
In loving memory of my father, David Wertwyn, who passed away suddenly on Monday, October 24th, 2022. David was born on June 24th, 1972, to his father Arie Wertwyn (Mary Jo) and his late mother Heidi Wertwyn (nee Lange) in the city of Ottawa. He is survived by his son Summit Wertwyn, his siblings Robert Wertwyn (Catherine), Sylvia Weihrer, Stephen Weihrer (Trish) and Maddison Irons, as well as his Oma Margaret Wertwyn. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Summit’s brother Jaylen McComb will also miss him dearly, as well as many friends and extended family. David was a smart man and exceptionally creative. He loved drawing, sketching, and writing. Many framed pieces were dedicated to those he loved. David was charismatic and funny. He was also stubborn and opinionated but had such passion for certain topics in life. He fiercely loved his son and loved teaching him all about the great outdoors. He loved creating memories with his son, often bringing along his little brother so the two brothers could share the memories and traditions with Dave.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at the Masonic Hall, 31 James Street, Arnprior, Ontario K7S 1C9 on Sunday November 6th, 2022, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Diabetes Canada.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of David Wertwyn June 24 1972 October 24 2022 (age 50)..
