Caldas, David:
The loving family of David Caldas announces his sudden and tragic passing on October 9, 2022 at his home among his family at the age of 34. Dave is dearly missed by his beloved soul-mate, wife and mother of his children, Jessica Lindhorst. His six children, Harley, Zoe, Cali, Christian, Sebastian and Lorenzo cherish the memory of their dear daddy and will keep him in their hearts forever. Dave is survived by his parents, Alvaro and Maria “Fatima” Caldas and his brother Philip (Magda). He also leaves behind his grandparents, Agostinho and Arminda of Portugal and grandmother-in-law, Cathy (Late Ron). Dave was a brother-in-law to Lacey (Aaron), Alex (“Q”), Jorja and Jake (Shauna). He was an incredible uncle to nieces and nephews, Theo, Mia, Chloe Emily, Ryan and Rhythm. He was soon to be an uncle to another two little ones. He was a man with a heart of gold and will be remembered fondly by many.
David’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (vigil prayers at 7:45PM) on Friday, October 14th, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church on October 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM with interment at Woodland Cemtery to follow. Those who are unable to attend the funeral are invited to join the family via live-stream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming on Saturday.

My deepest condolences on the death of your son David. This is surprising as I know you pray and offer Mass intentions for your family, but nothing like this was expected. Take comfort in knowing that David now lies in the Bosom of the Lord, in peace, and without pain and suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
