It is with heavy hearts that the families of Clifford Dean Janes announce his sudden passing at the Western Long Term Care facility, Palliative care unit on Friday October 7th, 2022, at the age of 59 years. He was surrounded by love with family and friends
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Elizabeth (Betty) Oliver, they spent a wonderful 26 years together, his step-daughters; Barbara (Shawn) Penney, and Suzanne Oliver both of Estevan, Sask, grandchildren; Brooklynn Penney, Nicholas Penney, and Paige Gibson, his parents; Hazen and Jane (Moss) Janes, of Deer Lake, his brother; Dennis Janes of Deer Lake, his sisters; Christine (Kent) May, Holly (Dan) Manuel, both of Deer Lake, and Tara (Joe) Nash of Fort McMurray, AB. Cliff was predeceased by his grandparents; Norman and Rebecca (Cross) Moss, and George and Vivian (Bridger) Janes, his in-laws; Arthur and Vera (Matticks) Sheppard. Also leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews, and a very large circle of family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at 2:00 pm at The Emmanuel Pentecostal Church on Bennett’s Ave, Deer Lake, NL, with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating with the burial to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.
