Peacefully, after considerable health challenges, on Wednesday, August 10, 2021, in Montreal. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine for fifty-nine years. Devoted father of and father-in-law of Gregory and Carine (Schwarz), Warren and the late Joanne (Godel). Cherished Papa of Oliver and Georgia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Martin and the late Helene Blatt. Much admired brother-in-law of Ben Sulsky, the late Nettie and the late Sydney Weinstein, the late Victor and the late Dorothy Sulsky. Dear and cherished partner these last years of Eve Ross. Special friend of Jody Shapiro. The go-to friend and confidant for all of us! Son of the late Hyman and the late Lena Blatt. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Craig Watts and his staff for many years of care. Appreciation to the Montreal General Hospital nursing and medical teams. Graveside service on Thursday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m., at the Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 6800 Macdonald Ave. (reception room) following burial until Friday evening.
