Obituary of Charles Andrew Cusack
The passing of Charles “Andy” Andrew Cusack of Fredericton , NB , husband of the late Anne (Theriault) Cusack, occurred on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Hospice House in Fredericton . Born on February 13, 1950 in Fredericton , NB , he was the son of the late Ernest and Theresa (Doherty) Cusack. Andy worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed working in his shed, up-cycling old items he acquired and woodworking. Andy loved to help people any way that he could, from offering a helping hand to passing on items others may need.
Andy is survived by his children, Peter Cusack (Lesley) and Lisa Cusack; step-children, Al Brideau and Tommy Brideau (Debbie); grandchildren, Nicholas, William, Jacob, Amy, Eric, Gabriel, Caitlyn; siblings, Brenda Porter (Doug), Janice Breton (John), Cora Lynn Colford (Mike), Margie Sutton (Paul), Bob Cusack (Marilyn), Beverley Michaud; sisters-in-law, Gail Cusack, Caroline Cusack; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife, Andy was predeceased by his brothers, Ernie Cusack and Kirk Cusack.
A visitation and reception will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive , Fredericton on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm and will be followed directly by a Graveside Service in Sunny Bank Cemetery . For those who wish, remembrances may be made to New Brunswick Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
