Beyer; Carsten Jorg 2022

Beyer; Carsten Jorg, age 60, of Port Medway, formerly of, Edmonton, Alberta, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 in Port Medway.
Born in Dannenberg, Germany, Carsten was a son of the late Jeurgen and Erika (Shulz) Beyer.
Carsten was a life long brick layer, starting at the age of 16 working with his Uncle Wilfred Beyer. After retiring in 2021, Carsten and Dana moved to Port Medway where they quickly immersed themselves in the community making many new friends. Carsten was always available to give a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a member of the Port Medway Fire Department and the local coffee club. Cartsen was a jack of all trades and a master of many, there was nothing he could not fix and he did not know the meaning of the word “can’t”. He enjoyed working around the house on remodeling and landscaping projects. He couldn’t sit still, he had to be doing something all the time. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and had a passion for fishing. He was so loved and will be greatly missed.
Carsten is survived by his loving wife, Dana; sons, Terrance of Edmonton, Alberta and Justin (Cadziana) of Lac la Biche, Alberta; many grandchildren; brothers, Ralf (Chris) of Melbourne, Australia, Ben of Edmonton, Alberta.
Besides his parents, Carsten was predeceased by a brother, Torsten.
