Obituary
It is with broken hearts we the Penney family announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Beatrice Laura Penney (nee Barnes) on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, born January 25, 1936
Predeceased by her loving husband: Harold Overton Penney (October 20, 2017) and her parents Edward and Margaret Barnes.
Leaving to mourn with laughter and many cherished memories her children: Evelyn (Randy) White, Gary (Sandra), Randy (Bonnie), Glen (Marilyn), Kevin (Linda), Faron (Michelle), Wanda Brett, Shawn (Sandy) and Lori (Keith) Penney; grandchildren: Jeremy (Kelley) White, Rodney (Amanda), Nichole (Allen) Patten, Danielle (Brian) Penney, Adam, Glen Jr, Sara (Dylan), Kailey, Alicia, Faron Michael (Kim), Shelby (Lucas), Nathan (Rebecca), Courtney (Grant) Courtney, Maddison (Christopher) Brett, Joel, Kerri, Katie, Shelby and Charlie; 22 great grandchildren; brother: Norman (Bernice) Barnes; In-laws: Joyce Mercer, Gertie Oake, Joan (Harvey) Leyte, Marion (Don) Hodder, Yvonne (Larry) Bulgin, Sybil Penney, Madge, Sandy (Vera), Michael, Stephen (Rosetta) also, extended family and a large circle of friends.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and residents of Glenbrook Lodge for your friendship, love, compassion and care.
At Beatrice’s request cremation has taken place. A celebration of Beatrice’s life will be held in Horwood at a later date.
