Obituary of Barbara June Black
Passed away peacefully at her home in Oro-Medonte on Thursday September 1, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Bill Black (May 2000). Loving mother Ruth Koop (Edward) of Saskatchewan, Rob Black (Molly) of Oro-Medonte, Carol Holly (Mark) of Colorado, USA, and the late Gail Black (December 2011). Loved grandmother of Evie (Jeff), Angela (Dylan), Matthew, Coral (Heather), John, Mitchel, Devynn, and Benjamin. Dear great grandmother of Shauna, Keri, Katie, and William. Sister of Jim Fotherby of Orillia and Joyce McLean (Gordon) of Thornton. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the COLDWATER FUNERAL HOME, Coldwater from 2-4 & 7-9pm Thursday. The funeral service will be held at the Severn Falls Chapel, Severn Falls on Friday September 9th at 12noon. Interment St. Andrew’s-St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia on Friday September 9th at 3pm. As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Severn Falls Chapel or to The Gideon Bible Society and may be made through the funeral home.
