Obituary of Anna Mae Rogers (Calver)
It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Mae Rogers announce her passing at the Friendly Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the age of 82. Cherished and beloved wife of Carl Rogers for 62 years. Dear and loving mother of Pam Franklin and Angie Jenkins (Wayne) and caring ‘Camay’ to granddaughter Leanne. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ashley, Sarah, Nicole, Carl, Tamara and Paige and proud great grandmother to 13 great grandchildren. Also missed by her loving cat Sabrina. Daughter of the late Borden and Nina Calver (nee Baker). Survived by her sister Karen Walker (late Carl) and by her brothers Bud (Jane), Larry and Kenny (Shari). Predeceased by her siblings Laverne Marshall (late Ernie), June Stokes (late Red), Norma Scott (late Carl), Joyce Gibson (Jim), Linda McFarlane (late Don), Eileen Caldwell (late Al), Frances Bedore, Ben Thurston (Margaret), Rod Calver (late Linda) and Brenda Calver. Dear sister-in-law of the late Wayne (late Dianne), Jean Kemp (late Art), the late Garnet (Marion) and John (Linda). Remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Newburgh Cemetery on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 1 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) from 2 – 4 pm. Memorial donations to Emmanuel United Church in Odessa would be appreciated by the family.
