Obituary
Jim passed away on October 3, 2022, after suffering with cancer for quite a while. He has gone to join Ann, his wife for 48 years. Leaving Joan Halsted, wife; Children Jamie (and Amie), Lindsey (and Clare), Lee (and Roxanne); and Grandchildren DJ and Mattie; Sarah, Caeleigh, and Meagan, stepgrandson Bradley and Great Grandsons Emerson and Reign; and in England his Sister Enid (and Kevin) and Richard (and Brenda) and families.
Jim was a member of the Floorlayers Union since coming to Canada in 1974 and worked all over the province but mainly in the Lower Mainland and the Okanagan.
He joined the Royal Canadian Legion in Kelowna in 1986 and transferred to Westbank branch 288 when the branch was created. He was an active member, participating in all the events and serving on the executive and various committees over time. Jim was an avid darts player competing in the Valley shoots and representing the branch at Provincials and Nationals.
He will be missed by family and friends. God bless you Jim. May God keep you safe and bless you with a happy and pain-free afterlife, and grant you the joy and laughter that you brought to everyone who knew you.
