William George Veale Thursday September 9th 2021

VEALE, William George-slipped away peacefully at Saint Michael’s Hospital, Toronto on Thursday September 9, 2021, in his 89th year. Beloved son of the late Harry Veale and Luella (McEachern)Veale. William was the beloved husband of Elsie Marguerite (Langstaff) Veale and the late Edith (McNiven)Veale. Loving father of Frederick James and Karen Yvonne. Cherished grandfather to Allan (Amanda), Jamie (Ally), Kimberlee and Breanna and great grandfather to Hailey, Cassidy and Lincoln. Predeceased by his brother Milford and survived by his sister Muriel (Alex)Sinclair. William lived his whole life in the Woodville area and was extremely involved in the Presbyterian Community Church. His passion for curling was part of his life, at least once a week, from a young teenager until age 87. He was a world traveller and always enjoyed music, dancing and a good time. He will be dearly missed by family, nieces and nephews, friends and all who knew him. If he was part of your life, you were truly blessed. A small graveside service will be held for immediate family and a celebration of life will be held later in time. If so desired memorial donations in memory of William to the Woodville Community Presbyterian Church or Saint Michael’s Hospital in Toronto would greatly be appreciated by the family.
