William’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of William Emmanuel Young announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Glenburnie, NL, on Wednesday July 7th, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 62 years; Marjorie nee Raike, his sons; Barry (Ruby), and Dennis, his grandchildren; Sheldon (Crystal), Chris (Gale), and Sheena (Shawn), his 5 great grandchildren, his nieces, and nephews; Iona White, Henry (Joyce) Young, Cecil (Rose) Young, Wade (Elaine) Young, Scott (Pat) Young, Linda, Dave (Lorna) Hann, Roger (Sandra) Hann, and Jenny (Stan) Parsons, his in-laws; Joan Goosney (Cecil) Martin, Betty Colburne, Clyde (Maxine) Raike, Otto (Claudine) Raike, Bert (Linda) Raike, Tony (Margaret) Raike, Daisy Raike, Danny (Eulah) Raike. Joy Raike, and Douglas Halfyard, William was predeceased by his parents; Maude and Issac Young, his brother; Gerald (Mildred) Young, sister; May (Sam) Hann, his in-laws; Gwen and George Raike, brothers-in-law; Eric Colburne, and Terry Raike, and sister-in-law; Muriel Halfyard. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Pentecostal Church in Birchy Head, NL, on Friday, July 9th, 2021, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Cecil Young officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery, in Birchy Head, NL. We must follow all the guidelines and policies of the Covid-19, regulations.
We know that our grieving families still need to feel the same level of support from you their family, friends, loved ones and community.
