Obituary of Wesley Miles Villneff
It is with great sadness that the Family of Wes Miles Villneff, 62 of New Liskeard, ON announce his passing on Monday June 7th, 2021 at the Temiskaming Hospital, after his courageous battle with cancer.
Born on May 10th 1959 to Ann & Ernest Villneff in New Liskeard, ON. He attended NLSS and went on to work at local grocery stores, fondly known as “Wes My Meat Guy”, “The Butcher” and “The Union Guy”.
Outside of work, Wes was often found on the family farm, playing or watching hockey, or out with his many friends.
He is survived by his Father Ernest (Margaret) Villneff of New Liskeard, ON, Brother Mark (Doris) Villneff of Hudson Township, ON, Children Ann Marie Villneff of Fredericton, NB, Renee (Adam) Williams, of Kitchener, ON, Miles (Hilary) Villneff of Orillia, ON, and Deseree Villneff of Cornwall, ON, Grandchildren Violet O’Leary, Jaxon & Edison Williams, Hudson & Russell Villneff, extended family and too many friends to name whom he considered family. He is predeceased by his Mother Ann Villneff, as well as all of his Grandparents.
Memorial donations may be mailed to Temiskaming Hospital Foundation (421 Shepherdson Road, New Liskeard, ON P0J 1P0). The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Temiskaming Hospital Staff.
Due to the challenges of COVID-19 no funeral will take place, but a memorial for family will be held at a later date. Perrin’s Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
