Washchuk Henriette “Henri July 30th 2021

Washchuk, Henriette “Henri”
July 30th, 2021
Passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Friday, July 30, 2021, at McCormick Home in London, Ontario, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of 52 years to Paul Washchuk. Loving mother of Sean (Tanya Baxter) and Kristi (Matthew Renkema). Cherished Omi of Carys, Cole, Callyn and Ella. Dear sister of Angelika Hoffman, Eitel Lindenburger and Cornelia Sturgess. Predeceased by her parents, Bringfriede and Albrecht Lindenburger. Born in Ziethen, Germany, with formative years in Oshawa and then Toronto before raising her own family in Sudbury. Ultimately moving to London to be closer to her grandchildren. She was a strong tennis player and elegant skier, showing us all the finer points. Henri nurtured the most beautiful flower gardens, loved hosting and cooking for family and friends. Unfailingly supportive, always cheering her children, and then grandchildren, in all of their sporting endeavors. She will be especially missed by family, friends, and her devoted husband. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Henri are asked to consider the McCormick Care Foundation.
