Jollimore, H. Walter – River John: Harold Walter Jollimore, age 73 of River John, N.S., passed away August 18th, 2021 in Lillian Fraser memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Cape John, he was the son of the late Basil Hiltz and Florence E. (Heighton) Jollimore. Walter was famous for his cooking experience throughout his life and was number one for fish and chips. Walter loved gossip, he said he never repeated gossip so listen carefully the first-time. He loved his drives, traveling, half cups of tea, yard sales, a bit of slot machine fun and old-time dances. Walter leaves behind his life-long friend and wife of 45 years, Brenda (Bigney) Jollimore; sons, Russell Jollimore and Winston Jollimore; daughter-in-law, Lisa Jollimore “Pussy Cat”; his pride and joy, granddaughter, Lilly Lee Jollimore who always kept him going and always on his toes; his fur baby, Heidi; siblings, Neta (James) Jollimore, Wolfville; John (Sandra) Jollimore, River John; James (Cathy) Jollimore, Onslow; Agnes (Craig) Burris, Folly Mtn.; Douglas Jollimore, Truro; Phyllis (Kevin) Faulkenham, Wolfville; brother-in-law, Derrick Russell; grandchildren, Brandon Reid, Anna Jollimore, Lilly Jollimore, Brooklyn Jollimore and Brody Jollimore; many nieces and nephews and many friends near and far. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Gordon Jollimore, Annie Jollimore and Betty Russell. As with Walter’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche, and no visitation or funeral service will be held.
