Wade H Tarbox 19472021

Wade H. Tarbox
1947-2021
TARBOX, Wade H., age 74, of Gold River, passed away Saturday June 5,
2021 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Raised in Martins Point, former employee of Farmers Dairy, Moosehead
Breweries and finally retired from Halifax Regional Municipality.
He had many hobbies such as wood turning, fishing, and gardening. He
enjoyed an annual fishing trip to Mooseland and the Nova Scotia Salmon
Association dinners. There was not a yard sale that he would pass by,
he could always find a treasure to pass along to the many people who
meant so much to him. Wade would drop everything to help family and
friends. He made an impression on everyone in his path, helping so
many people along the way. He was a dedicated family man, spending 40
years with the love of his life Shirley. They enjoyed travelling and
going for drives around the province. He especially loved spending
time with his grandson Zachary and grand dog Scooby. He was very proud
of his two boys. Trips to Tim Horton’s in Chester and Mahone
Bay and feeding the ducks became a weekly tradition with him and his
boys.
Wade was predeceased by his wife, Shirley; father, Frank; brother,
Oran.
Survived by his mother, Marion; son, Christopher (Tracy); grandson,
Zachary; brothers, Brian (Janet), Gary; sister, Karry Lynn (Travis);
nephew, Craig (Haley); nieces, Josie and Karley.
Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date, arrangements will
be communicated through Mahone Funeral Home.
No flowers by family request. Donations can be made in Wade’s
honor to two places close to his heart, the Canadian Cancer Society
and the IWK Health Centre Foundation.
Wade’s family would like to thank the staff of South Shore
Regional Hospital for the care they provided to Wade during his stay.
