In loving memory of Vittorio Luigi Centis who passed away Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at Health Sciences North at the age of 74. Son of Valentino and Nella Centis both predeceased. Beloved husband of Rosanna (Repele) Centis for 49 years. Loving father of Selena Centis-Forsyth, Andrea (Lisa) and Jordan (Mariela). Cherished Nonno of Sheridan, Adrianna, Malick and Maxim. Dear brother to Marisa Centis-Bidin (Mario). Missed by his many nieces and nephews in Italy and Sudbury, his brothers and sisters-in-law, his Zia Maria and cousins in Sudbury, Windsor, and Italy. He was a member of Fogolar Furlan – Sudbury, the Caruso Club, and the Montessori Club – Sudbury. Vittorio owned and operated Centor Painting with his son. Vic’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren, working in the garden, making wine, experimenting with spices in his cooking and when younger, hunting. He especially enjoyed being with family and friends. His trips to Italy to visit his family brought him much happiness with memories he would recount. Many hours were spent watching the Blue Jays play and cheering on “Udinese” in the Italian Serie A soccer league. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Liver Foundation would be appreciated. Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury where friends may gather from 4-8pm Wednesday with parish prayers at 4pm. Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury Thursday, September 16th, 2021 at 11am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
