Victor Ralph Heisler 1934 2021

Obituary of Victor Ralph Heisler
A hard worker and a generous man, Vic Heisler died peacefully at the Terrace Lodge (Home for the Aged) in Aylmer, Ontario on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 in his 88th year.
Vic had a variety of interests, could fix anything and, on any given weekend, would be found tinkering with his latest project, cutting wood, plowing snow, or helping one of his neighbours or friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Doris Heisler, of Port Bruce, Ontario, his children Todd (Vicky) Heisler of Orwell; Tiffany (Cody) Galvin of Richer, Manitoba; Vickie (Ken) Rielly of Stratford; Ron (Sandy) Heisler of London; Dianne (Brian) Colling of Whitby; Deb Brookes of Kitchener; Valerie (Bruce) Pauloff of Waterloo; Raymond Heisler and Rick Heisler.
His prolific line will be carried on by 9 grand children and 8 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff of Upper South Unit, Terrace Lodge, in Aylmer. They went above and beyond the call of duty to comfort Vic during his struggle with Alzheimer’s.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Donations in his honour can be made to the Terrace Lodge “Comforts of Home” (49462 Talbot Street E., Aylmer, Ontario N5H 3A5) or by emailing fundraiser@donatetoterracelodge.ca.
Please join us for a “Celebration of Vic’s Life” at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 598, 11577 Longwoods Rd., Delaware, Ontario, on Monday September 13th commencing 1PM. (Please follow COVID Protocols!)
