Veula J. Anderson – age 95 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. Member of Holston Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by spouse of 75 years, Mike Anderson; daughter, Barbara Jean Scheetz; and sisters, Eva Parrish and Nellie Pearl Samples.
Survived by son, Michael Ray Anderson (Brenda); daughters, Janet Marie Reed (Jim), Sharon Kay Ellis (Tony) and Betty Fox (Bill); grandchildren, Eric Anderson, Travis Anderson, Jarrett Ellis (Annie), Abigail Ellis Jones (Blake), Andrew Fox (Jamie), Oakley Fox, Brian Sheetz, Amber Shephard; great grandchildren from whom Veula greatly enjoyed visits, Reece, Avery, Grey and Stetson; and sister, Gloria Jean Overholt.
Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 PM graveside service with Rev. Toby Downey officiating. The family will appreciate flowers; or if you prefer, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or East TN Children’s Hospital in Veula Anderson’s name.
