Veronica Agnes Kleiter (Hauber) passed away peacefully at the Rosthern Hospital from a stroke she suffered 10 days earlier on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Veronica was born December 23, 1929 in Cudworth and lived her entire life in the Cudworth/Bremen area. She is survived by her 7 children: Elaine Loeffelholz, Claudine (Garry) Lynchuk, Randy (Patti) Kleiter, Brenda (Ron) Kowalenko, Charlene (Cyril) Schlosser, Marlene (Curtis) Rustad and Rick (Peggy) Kleiter. She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Loretta Kleiter and her brother-in-law Henry Kohle. Veronica was predeceased by her husband, Roman, of 58 years, her son-in-law Dale Loeffelholz, her grandson-in-law Clint McIvor, her parents Otto and Elizabeth (Lopinski) Hauber, brother Roman (Leona) Hauber, her sister Celine Kohle and her brother-in-law Clarence Kleiter. Mom was involved in the church choir and the CWL for many years. A huge part of her life involved music as well. She loved listening to old-time music and played the accordion and guitar. Dad and mom enjoyed going to many dances together. Baking and cooking were some of mom’s greatest talents and she was known for her sense of humor, kindness and compassion right to her final days. Mom enjoyed living her last few years at St. Michael’s Haven in Cudworth where she often had visitors of all ages. She will be sadly missed by all. The family would like to thank the staff at The Haven and at Rosthern Hospital for the exceptional care she received. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Cudworth, SK on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Ralph Kleiter as Celebrant and Rev. Fr. Benjamin Ezekwudo as con-celebrant. Interment of the Urn followed at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Donations in memory of Veronica may be directed to St. Michael’s Haven in Cudworth. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 306-233-4403.
