Peacefully at home, Tuesday, March 9, 2021 of Verna Belle
Milligan of Poplar Grove aged 87 , beloved wife of the late Lester
Milligan. Verna was born on August 7, 1933 in East Bideford, daughter
of the late Bayfield & Thema (Hayden) Murphy.
Cherished mom to Brenda (Brian) MacArthur, Barbara Morrison,
Bonnie (Paul) Morrison, Brent (Annette) Milligan, and Beverley (Mike)
Palmer. Dear Grandmother to Blair (Terri) MacArthur, Bradley (Amanda)
MacArthur, Christopher Morrison, Brandi (Dave) Astephen, Andrew
(Diane) Morrison, Adam (MacKayla) Morrison, Connor Milligan, Karle
Milligan, Julee (Greg) Enman, Mindy (Brad) Bryan, Jacob (Hollie)
Palmer, 4 step grandchildren and 19 great
grandchildren.
Also survived by her sisters in law Kay MacCaull, Doris
Arsenault and Ruby Murphy.
Predeceased by her parents, husband Lester (October 16,
2020), son Bruce, son in law Danny Morrison, father and mother in law
Arthur and Veronica Milligan, brothers and sisters, Evelyn, Edward,
Gladys, Lillian, Enid and Carl.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, due to Covid
19, private arrangements for invited guests will take place on
Saturday. Interment to follow in the Bideford United Church
Cemetery.
