Vera’s Obituary
Vera Lynne Strachan passed away suddenly, at home in Weberville, on August 23, 2021, at 59 years of age.
Vera was working the night shift for Accord Answering Service. This job was perfect for her as it gave her lots of free time that she would sew, crochet or cross stitch in. Vera was usually in administrative roles but also dabbled in the food industry. She had a passion for baking, cooking, cross stitching, crocheting & sewing. She had a love for plants, gardening, and her grandchildren.
She is predeceasd by her parents Josephine & Stuart Longstreet; and, oldest sisterJudy Bailey.
Vera is survived by her husband Ronald Strachan; daughter Elisha (Robin) Chase; son Chris Strachan; son Matthew (Lydia) Strachan; grandchildren Cashius Strachan (Chris), Ace Strachan (Chris), Jade-Lynn Strachan (Matthew).
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 18th @ 2pm, at Weberville Hall, for anyone who would like to attend to hear a Eulogy & any stories people would like to share of Vera.
