Valerie was called home by the Creator peacefully on September 11, 2021 with her family at her side.
Wake will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 4 pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Center Gymnasium, Kawacatoose First Nation, SK. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10 am in the same location. Covid-19 protocols will apply.

  1. My condolences to the family and friends of Valerie. I enjoyed listening to this strong historian and treaty expert. She was not only my colleague but a dear friend as well. I shall miss her greatly. Heaven has gained another beautiful angel. TIL we meet again Valerie.
