Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Patricia Ann Cleal which occurred at the Loch Lomond Village on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021. Born 1958, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Haven (Janice) Cleal and Delma Merritt. Trish worked as a Geriatric Aid at the Loch Lomond Villa for 16 years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball and cross stitching. She campaigned for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and was an avid Nascar fan.
Trish is survived by her daughters Cassandra Totten (Mike) of Grove Hill, Alyssa McCracken (Steve Totten) of Hanford Brook; loving and devoted spouse of 20 years Jean Guy Simard and his children Stephanie Simard (Robbie) and Lewis Simard (Gena); step-brother Lawrence White of Quispamsis; step-sister Alma Girouard (Robert) of Saint John; sister-in-law Kelly of Pickton, ON; grandchildren Bryceten, Aven, Tristen and Harlen; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Trish was predeceased by her brother John and step-sister Linda.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Sunday, September 19th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Monday, September 20th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Trish may be made to the MS Society of Canada or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
