Obituary For Tina Wardrobe
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Tina Ann Wardrobe (Dettling). On July 27, 2021 Tina went to be with her Saviour in Heaven, at the age of 57. She fought a long battle with cancer after being diagnosed in Spring of 2019.
She will be forever remembered by her children Amy (Dylan), David (Morgan), Jodie (Tanner), Michael (Kiran) and grandchild, Sawyer. And also lovingly remembered by her mother Lila (Fred), siblings; Tammy (Blaine), Liz (Danny), Alan (Melissa), Marty, Lori (Rick), Doug (Brenda) and David. She will be embraced in the arms of the predeceased by her Father Andy, Step-Father Donny, and Step Brother David. Tina will also be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 6th at 1:00pm, at People’s Church, 11850 108 Street, Grande Prairie with Pastor Patrick Karuhije officiating. Tina never understood or liked wearing all black at funerals, we would encourage those who want to attend to dress in fun bright colours to light up the room just as she did herself. All are welcomed.
One of her dreams was to re-open the donation/fundraiser (Toonies to Touch Hearts) she started on her 50th birthday to raise money in support for the homeless in Grande Prairie. We would like to honour this by asking donations to be made to the Saint Lawrence Centre, Box 21331 Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7.
