1949-2021
Thomas “Tommy” Conway McNeil,
72, of Dobson Corner, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday,
August 24, 2021, with his family by his side. Born in Glace Bay, NS he
was the son of the late Richard “Dick” and Mary (Farrell)
McNeil.
Thomas joined the military at a young
age posted in Chatham where he met his beloved wife of almost 40
years, the late Eleanor McNeil. Afterward he worked at the cement
plant, then as a commissioner, and finally, 25 years for the
department of transportation before his retirement. He attended First
North River Baptist Church, and enjoyed motorcycling, golfing, going
to the beach, and most especially, time with his grandchildren. He
watched many sports and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs
fan.
Thomas is survived and sadly missed by
his children, Arlene (Albert) Wesselius, Stephen (Rhonda), and Todd
(Melissa); grandchildren, Ryan, Laura, Kyle, Breanne, Jaylin, Shyanne,
Tarik, and Kallen; siblings, Mary Beth (George) LeBlanc, Joan Ling,
Ann (Bill) Vincent, Patricia (Andy) Chisholm, Richard, Michael
(Andrea); many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife,
Thomas was predeceased by siblings, Maureen Wilson and
Dennis.
Resting at The Salisbury Funeral Home,
3350 Route 106, Salisbury West (372-4800) from where visiting will be
held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral
Service will be at The First North River Baptist Church, 573 Blakney
Rd, Fawcett Hill on Monday, August 30 at 1 pm. Interment in Lewis
Mountain Cemetery.

River Baptist Church would be appreciated.
