It is with great sadness that the family of Stella Marsh announce the passing of their beloved Mother at the age of 98 years. Stella was born and raised in Lafond, Alberta, one of seven children born to Philias Jean and Marie-Jeanne Dumont. Her mother died at the age of 34 of heart trouble which left her to cope with life, but living on the farm gave her plenty to do and the skills that helped to carry her through life. She was an accomplished cook, baker & seamstress. She embraced her role as Mother, wife and grandmother ensuring that her family was nurtured and loved. Stella will be ever remembered, loved and sadly missed by her children, Lorraine (Garry) Parenteau, Margaret (John) Chrapko, Robert (Georgette) Marsh, Henry Marsh, Doris (Doug) Muraca & Joanne (Melvin) Kohlman; daughter-in-law, Debbie Marsh, as well as her treasured grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph St. Jean in 1948; second husband, William Marsh in 1994; & 3 sons, Albert St. Jean, Marcel St. Jean & Allan Marsh. A Private Prayer Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, Brosseau. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant with interment in the church cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to her caregivers at the Two Hills Health Care Centre and is also grateful to friends and extended family who have provided support.
