The religous community of Yorkton sadly announce the passing of Sister Nestor Kyba on Friday, December 24, 2021. She was 94 years of age.
Prayers will be held on Monday, January 3 at 7:00p.m. and the Funeral Liturgy will take place Tuesday, January 4 at 10:00a.m. all from St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.

With sadness, I, and on behalf my recently deceased Mother, Mary Bialobzyski, (January 1, 2022) wish to express our deepest sympathies to Sister Nestor’s family. My Mother and Sister Nestor began a friendship that spanned over 50 years. They talked frequently on the phone, giving each other spiritual support, Sister Nestor was also my Catechism teacher in the 60’s in Dauphin Manitoba. She will always be remembered.
