Ray passed away on May 9, 2021, at Central Okanagan Hospice House.
Ray was predeceased by his first wife Eleanor and their beloved pets Fluffy and Mitzi; his parents Fred and Olga Singbeil; his brother George; his sister Dorothy Steinke; his nephew Clifford Steinke; and his grandniece Jenny Smith. He is survived by his wife Audrey; seven nephews; and two nieces.
Ray and Audrey spent many years travelling in their motorhome to Arizona and Manitoba. In Beausejour, he enjoyed visiting his cousins and nephews and other extended family. He was especially close to his nephews and nieces. Ray was a loyal friend who kept in touch with his friends over the years, and never forgot a phone call. When he married Audrey, he inherited a stepfamily who he was very proud of and especially loved his new grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed every day, by so many.
Ray will be interred at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. Due to the current pandemic, no formal service will be held. Family and friends will honour Raymond each in their own way.
