Obituary for
Sharon Krawchuk
On September 24, 2021 Sharon Krawchuk of Radway, Alberta passed away peacefully in her sleep, after a battle with cancer. She was 66 years old.
She is survived by her children, William (Dariel) Krawchuk of Radway, Barry (Christy Griffith) Krawchuk of Radway, and Carolyn (Timothy Rudolph) Krawchuk of Edmonton; as well as four grandchildren, Steven and Yolonda (Carolyn), Jacob and Sam (William); her brothers, Ken (Ann) Sawchuk of Sturgeon County, AB and Gerald (Judy-deceased) Sawchuk of Edmonton.
Sharon is predeceased by her husband, Edward; and her parents, John and Natalka Sawchuk.
Sharon will be missed by the so many lives she touched, including those working for Radway Continuing Care Center and the Aspen View School district for 35 years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Redwater Hospital for helping care for Sharon during these last months of her life.
Due to COVID restrictions, a small gathering of family to celebrate Sharon’s life will take place on Friday, October 1 at 11 a.m. at Park Memorial, 311 White Earth Street, Smoky Lake, AB with interment to follow at the Radway Community Cemetery at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Aspen View Public Schools, Thorhild Central School, as molding young minds was Sharon’s passion.
