Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth Rae Clemens
Safe in the arms of Jesus, on Monday, June 28, 2021, Sharon Clemens (née Breckman) of Lambton Shores, passed away at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late George Clemens (2017). Loving and caring mother of Pamela (Rick) Kerrigan, Allen (Sharon) Clemens, Stephen (Kaleigh) Clemens, Christine (Matthew) da Costa and the late Wayne Clemens. Cherished grandmother of Cathi Jo (Rick) Meyers, David (Katie) Kerrigan, Jessica (Mike) Nowak, Jocelyn Clemens, Kaleb and Luke Clemens, Ben, Rachel, Abigail and Eden da Costa. Proud great-grandmother of Graydon and Kyle Meyers, Noah and Jack Kerrigan, Everett, Amber, Autumn and Eilah Nowak, and Amelia and Sydney Schultz. She will be missed by her special friend George Winegarden as well as Dan and Phyllis McTavish, Norm Aitken, Pat Harrison, Fran Rinker, Gerry Rinker, Beth and Bruce Nutt and Susan Rinker. Predeceased by her parents Halldor and Phyllis Breckman, sisters Sheila Breckman, Beverly Tyrrell and Donna Aitken. Also predeceased by Marjorie and Malcolm McKellar, Fred Rinker, Al Rinker, Doug Rinker, Janet and Jack Gormley, Bob Knowles, Bob Harrison. Sharon will be missed by her many friends, neighbours and colleagues.
Sharon loved being a mother, hostess and teacher. She loved the farm life. She was an active charter member of Pinery Baptist Church. Sharon grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and London and was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and the Ontario Teachers College.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Pinery Baptist Church, 8751 Lakeshore Road, Lambton Shores, on Thursday, July 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the Church on Friday, July 2nd at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment in Ravenswood Cemetery. Please register your attendance for visitation and/or the funeral service, using the link below. Those who are not able to attend the service are invited to view the livestream which will be available on Friday by clicking on the “Livestream” button found on the menu to the left.
