1974-2021
EVEN-HAR (Grant), Selena Dawn –
Age 46, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 13,
2021, in St. Francis Harbour. Born in Antigonish she was a daughter of
Garnet and Jean (Melanson) Grant. Selena was a very devoted wife,
mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Above all her children always came
first and she was completely devoted to them. Selena loved her work
and always enjoyed travelling, going for drives and just being
outdoors. She will be dearly missed by her family and
friends.
Besides her parents, Selena is survived by her husband, Nadav
Even-Har; her daughters, Mayan and Emersyn Even-Har; sister, Susan
Grant (Evan Mosher), Antigonish; brother, Kyle Grant (Juliana
Buchanan), MacPherson’s Lake; nieces, Hannah and Norah;
nephews, Graeson, Hendrix and Lev. She is also survived by her father
and mother-in-law, David and Michelle Even-Har; sisters-in-law, Meirav
Even-Har and Haggar Even-Har. She was predeceased by maternal
grandparents, Joseph and Josephine Melanson; paternal grandparents,
Francis and Hazel Grant.
Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Friday in Dennis
Haverstock Funeral Home, 724 Granville St., Port Hawkesbury. Cremation
will follow with a memorial service to be held at a later
date.
Memorial donations in Selena’s memory may be made
to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Words of comfort may be
