Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ryan Alan Dancek at the young age of 33. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Pincher Creek on October 31, 2021.
Ryan was born August 19, 1988 in Pincher Creek. He resided in the Crowsnest Pass, where he grew up in Bellevue. He was your typical fun loving neighborhood kid. He would spend hours outside playing with his friends Kirby and Kristy and their dog Sonic. Riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline and some weekend camping trips. He also enjoyed Taekwon-Do, baseball, snowboarding, dirt biking, playing video games and fishing with gramps.
Over the years, Ryan worked at Castle Mountain, oil rigs, as a drywaller and at Cavendish. He eventually made his way back to Pincher Creek where he lived with his gramps, and helped him out with whatever he needed. Ryan was also a huge animal lover, he loved everyone’s dogs and adored his cat (Kitty).
Ryan will be forever missed by his father Carl Dancek (Kim); his mother Lori Versteeg (Steve); his step sister Tiffany (Kenton) and nephew Blake; his grandfather Carl Dancek Sr. (Gramps); his grandmothers Adeline Murfin (Don); and Lillian Vendezande (Grandma V); his step grandma Elaine May (Gag); along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
A service will be held at a later date.
Donations can be made to the Humane Society/SPCA , P.O. Box 2647, Pincher Creek, AB T0K 1W0
