Ruth Pearl Murray
1921-2021
The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Thursday,
February 25, 2021 of Ruth Pearl Murray formerly of Cascumpec in her
100 year, wife of the late Ray Murray. Ruth was born in St Eleanors on
November 17, 1921, daughter of the late MacLean and Nina (Williams)
MacNevin.
Cherished Mom to Lloyd (Carolyn), Cascumpec; Ruby Ramsay,
O’Leary and Kenny (Karen), Cascumpec. Loving Nannie to
Christine (Kevin) Gamble, Ellen (Jimmy) McAssey, Elizabeth
Ramsay-Sellick, Krystal (Blair) Sweet and Kendra (Paul) Silliker,
great Nannie to Nina & Nola Gamble, Bailey McAssey, Chris
(Maddie) McAssey, Justin Ramsay, Braydon Sellick , Brady Silliker and
several great great grandchildren.
Dear sister to Wanda MacNeill, West Devon; Ellen MacKay,
Keswick, ON and sister in law to Pearl MacNevin, West
Devon.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents, husband Ray, son in law
John Ramsay, brothers Rustin, Stenning, Horace, sisters Willa, Minerva
Hayes and Isabelle Hutchinson.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary, due to Covid 19 restrictions, private funeral
arrangements on Saturday for invited guests. Interment in the
Bloomfield United Church Cemetery.
