Ruda’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of Ruda Emily Fillier nee Jacobs announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Wilfred, her daughter; Janet Fillier, grandson; Tyler Fillier, 2 great granddaughters; Kayla, and Gracie, special nephew; Perry Jacobs, her siblings; Hilda (Obediah) Canning, Edna Jacobs, Donald (Clarice), Winston (Marion), Helen (Lorenzo) Pittman, McKinley (Lorraine), Ellis (Starlene), Murray (Mari Anne), and Calvin (Carol), her sister-in-laws; Joyce and Mona Jacobs, Ruda was predeceased by her parents; Violet and James Jacobs, her brothers; Ross, Harold, Claude, Wilfred (Irene), and Llewellyn. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
In keeping with the most recent Covid – 19 Government Regulations, a private Funeral service will be held at Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021, with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating, with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.
