Founder of Hamilton Sod
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Ross on September 14th, 2021 in Hamilton. Ross was born on July 3, 1928 in Hagersville Ontario. He was the son of the late Lorne and Clara Almas. Ross was predeceased by his brother Stan. Ross is survived by his three sons: David (Sharon) Glenn (Karen) John (Susan). He had 4 grandsons and many great grandchildren. David and Sharon would like to thank the staff of Wentworth Heights for their constant care and support but most of all their friendship to Dad for the past 11 years. A very special thank you to Michelle, Susan, Sara, Maria, Lori, Vanda and Dan; without whose tireless efforts, Dad’s journey would never have been so rewarding. A very special thank you to Pastor Ken Ingram for your dedicated service and friendship to Dad throughout the years. You are a very special man. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Monday, September 20 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. A Private Memorial Service and Interment to follow. Cremation has taken place.
