Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 31, 2021, Ross Edward Maitland passed away at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Gova Maitland. Loving father of Pam (Larry) Beaton and the late Tim Maitland, and father-in-law of Sue Maitland. Cherished grandfather of Brent Beaton, Bryan Beaton, Nick Maitland, Chris Maitland and Steph Maitland. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Grace (the late Harold) Waters and Jeannie (the late Gordon) Alexander. Ross worked at Polysar for many years. He and Gova loved travelling, and were able to visit Hawaii, Alaska and all across Canada. Ross especially enjoyed his time boating in the North Channel. He will be remembered as a quiet man who adored his family. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Ross’ wishes, a private family service will be held.
