Obituary of Rose Trimble
TRIMBLE, Rose Lorraine (Nee Johnston)
Passed away peacefully on September 19th, 2021 at the age of 82. Reunited with partner and best friend of 17 years Steve Stanko. Mother to Kenneth James Hitch of Alberta (Angela), April Heather McCurdy of Harrow , Kevin Robert Hitch of Alberta, Kerry Johnathan Hitch of Grimsby (Elaine) Grandmother to Patrick James McCurdy (Keerah), Sarah Hitch (Baby Beau), Kenneth James Hitch, Christopher Hitch. Predeceased by her parents James Johnston (2001) and Odia (1982), Stepdaughter of Florence A Johnston. Sister to James Alexander Johnston (Delphine), and Ethel Eona Curtis (1968). Step-sister to Bob Morreld (Gail), and Michael Morreld (Sandy). As well to be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Rose was employed at Seminole Library as a page for many years. She was a part of the RCL Branch 578, President of the Ladies Auxiliary #578, Member of the Red Hats Society, Sister’s City for Fujisawa, Japan the South Windsor Lioness Club for many years. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd East, 519-253-7234, on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 11am-12pm. Private Celebration of Life to be held. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Masks are required at the Funeral Home and Cemetery. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated on behalf of Rose to the Hospice of Windsor Es County, or the Raise a Reader Program.
