Ronald William “Ron” Grekul
It is with great sadness the family of Ron Grekul announce his passing on May 17, 2021 in Carlsbad, California.
Although born in Alberta, Ron spent the last 32 years of his life in the San Diego area, leading up to and including his retirement.
Left to mourn are his brother, Larry; and sister, Emmeline Hlushak; as well as nephews Peter (Lisa) and their children Jacob, Russell and stepson Alex; Russell (Amanda) and their children, Logan and Emellia.
Ron will also be missed by his dearest friends Dan, Margaret and son Danny (Sara) Mathews, who were like family to Ron.
Predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary (Matwe) Grekul and brother-in-law Peter.
A private graveside service will be held at the request of the family on June 8, 2021.
