A resident of Chatham, Robert Waggott passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham Campus on December 15, 2021 at the age of 93.
Born in Kingsville, Bob was the son of the late Curtis and Lillian (nee France) Waggott.
Beloved husband to the late Donna Waggott (nee Sudds) (2007).
Dear father of the late Jack Waggott and his wife Judy, Jill Cooper and her husband Kim, Jim Waggott and his wife Lynne. Proud grandfather to Shannon, Michael, Laura, Elizabeth (1982), Andrea, Lindsay, Shawn, Tim, Darren, Anna and 15 great-grandchildren.
Bob will be dearly missed by his sister-in-laws Louise and Florence Waggott and brother-in-law Bernard Adams. Predeceased by his brothers Richard, William and his sister Barbara Adams.
Family and friends will be received at Emmanuel Baptist Church, on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service to celebrate Bob’s life at 12:00 p.m.Due to COVID restrictions, visitation and the funeral service are limited to a specific number of visitors. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Bob was a retired long time employee of International Harvester (Navistar), a founding member of Emmanuel Baptist Church as well as being part of the design and build team of the original church building.
