Robert Stephen Linton 2021

Obituary of Robert Stephen Linton
The death of Robert Stephen Linton occurred on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a period of failing health.
Robert was born in Saint John and was the son of the late Thelma and Murray Linton. He is survived by his family, Elizabeth (John), Murray, Gwen, Phillip, an aunt and several cousins.
Robert was a member of Portland United Church. He was active in many activities and functions. He kept himself informed of all current events which he enjoyed discussing with you. He had a strong willingness to live life to its fullest. Robert enjoyed travel (many bus tours), reading, stamp collection; meeting and making new friends was very important.
Robert was one of the original clients when Key Industries opened its doors in 1974 and had enjoyed being part of this organization. He participated in many of the programs offered and was very eager to learn and participate. Many friendships were made. He was a kind, polite, gentle man; a friend to all. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
A special thank you to Romina and staff at her Care Home and the nurses and doctors of 3D South and 5C North for their exceptional kindness and care given to Robert.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family graveside service will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
