Obituary of Robert James Elston
The passing of Robert “Bob” James Elston of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on December 29, 2021. Born in England on May 4, 1943. He is predeceased by his adopted mother Ella Greenwood.
Bob is survived by his beloved life companion, Shirley E. Eddy of Fredericton; stepsons, Randy Eddy of Nanaimo, BC, Kevin Eddy (Kim) of Fredericton; daughter, Kathy Ayrton (Mark) and her family of North Yorkshire, England; granddaughter, Jolene Kazic (Damir) and great grandson, Adi of Fredericton; brother, Jack Thomas (Sandra) of England; sister, Dorothy Fraser (Charles) of Scotland, Mavis Elston and Maureen Doe both of England.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes there will be no visitation of services, Donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or a charity of one’s choice.
